Service & Support Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026. This page explains what Site B supports, what a server owner is responsible for, and what to expect when something breaks.
What Site B supports
Site B is a multi-game community management platform. Nyra is its Discord bot.
Features are only considered supported when the connected game build and connector expose what Site B needs. Site B deliberately fails safely when it cannot verify a sensitive action.
Availability
Site B is currently a free, independent project and is provided on a best-effort basis. It does not include a guaranteed uptime percentage, response time or paid support entitlement.
Short interruptions can happen because of deployments, infrastructure faults, Discord outages, game API outages, DNS/network issues or security work. We will prefer a safe failure over silently performing an uncertain dinosaur/storage mutation.
Maintenance and updates
Routine maintenance should be scheduled to minimise disruption when practical. Emergency security or compatibility changes may be deployed immediately.
The Site B Windows Agent for The Isle Legacy can receive signed Site B Agent updates. Server owners should not replace the Agent executable with an untrusted file or disable signature/integrity checks to force an update.
Support
Support is for Site B setup, supported connectors, Nyra, dashboard behaviour, Agent enrollment, diagnostics and reproducible Site B bugs.
Support does not replace your game host, operating-system administrator, network provider, Discord support or the game's official support team. If the problem is outside Site B, we will try to identify that clearly instead of sending you through random troubleshooting loops.
What to include in a support request
- the Site B game-server name;
- game type and connector type;
- what you expected to happen;
- what actually happened;
- the relevant Site B diagnostic result or error text;
- timestamps where possible;
- screenshots with passwords/API keys hidden.
Never post connector passwords, API keys, Agent enrollment tokens, private keys or session cookies in a public support channel.
Security and service incidents
When an incident affects Site B, priorities are to contain the issue, protect credentials/data, restore safe operation, verify integrity and communicate material impact.
We may temporarily disable a connector, feature, account or Agent release while investigating a security issue. That is not a punishment when the goal is containment.
Backups and game data
Site B creates operation-level backups for supported sensitive writes, but these are not a replacement for the server owner's independent backup strategy.
Keep normal game-server backups outside the live game directory. Test that you can restore them. This matters especially before updates, migrations, bulk configuration changes or enabling new automation.
Connector expectations
The Isle Legacy Windows Agent
The Agent initiates outbound HTTPS. You do not need an inbound Site B port-forward. Multiple The Isle Legacy servers on one Windows machine are supported by installing one separate Agent per Site B server entry.
SFTP / FTPS / FTP
Use SFTP where possible. Site B can stop writes after authentication failures or host-identity changes to avoid hammering a provider or writing to an unexpected host.
Path of Titans REST API
Keep the raw HTTP REST API private or behind a protected TLS endpoint. Site B does not require the PoT Windows host to run the Site B Agent for The Isle Legacy.
Third-party compatibility
Discord Inc., Alderon Games (Path of Titans), Afterthought LLC (The Isle), Valve Corporation (Steam), hosting panels and operating systems can change without Site B controlling the change. A supported integration can temporarily stop working after an upstream update.
When that happens, we may mark an action unavailable rather than emulate undocumented behaviour that could damage saves.
Server-owner responsibilities
- Keep owner and staff accounts secure.
- Use least-privilege staff mappings.
- Protect connector secrets and API keys.
- Keep independent game-server backups.
- Do not expose PoT REST or file services unnecessarily to the internet.
- Follow Discord, game and hosting-provider rules.
- Test economy prices and storage on a test account before launch.
- Tell players when your community's own rules or privacy notice require it.
Changes to this policy
Supported games, connectors and service expectations can change as the product develops. The latest version of this page is the current policy unless a separate written agreement applies.
If Site B later introduces paid plans, their pricing, included support level and billing/cancellation terms will be documented separately before they are offered.
